President's Day

Last weekend we went to Island Park with my Dad, Bridger, Emily, Nate and Samuel. It was so much fun! We stayed in Nate's grandparent's cabin at Mack's Inn. The boys rode snow machines and Em, me and the babies hung out and relaxed. It was so nice to get away and just breath. And there is no better place to breath than Island Park! So Amy, you go ahead and keep your sunny days and your green grass, I don't even want them. OK, thats a lie. I would really like some green grass and warm weather, but for now I'll make due with my beautiful snow-covered trees and cozy cabin visiting.

This is the snow pile in the church parking lot and that is me. They said the pile was almost 4 stories high! They also warned us of avalanches on the pile. I tried to convince Tyler to play on it but he wouldn't fall for it. I've never seen an avalanche before.

This is just before we left to come home on Monday. It was hard to leave after such a fun weekend. Actually, Emily took care of all of us and cooked for everyone, that's the real reason I didn't want to leave!

Happy Birthday, Cory!

All of Tyler's family (except Josh who was sick) were able to get together on the 13th and have dinner to celebrate Tyler's brother Cory's birthday. It has been a while since we were all together so it was really fun to catch up. Thanks, Cory for giving us a good reason to get together!Jaxon & Nanna

Jaxon was playing in his ExerSaucer and started getting really, really sleepy. He was having a hard time holding his head up but he just couldn't stop playing with his toys!

So, we got him his own drink. Now Tyler doesn't have to do his drinkin' alone!

Let it Snow!

I'm not going to lie, I hate slick roads and the bitter cold. But just look how beautiful the snow is! I know most of you reading this got the same storm but it's been so long since we've had a good snow storm like this one we had to get pictures. This is just in one night. Actually, its about 5 hours and there is about 8 inches of snow on the railing. It had just started to snow when we went to bed around 1am and Tyler took this picture a little after 6am. Before we went to bed the cars and deck were all cleared off. No lie! Don't you just love Idaho!

Feet

Jaxon discovered he had feet a week or so ago. Now, he has to constantly be grabbing them and trying to eat them. It makes diaper changes pretty challenging.

Jump! Jump! Jump!

So I put Jax in his jumper for the first time and he is still a little small for it so he kinda just hung there. Then, he'd start to spin and get kinda upset. We'll try it again when he's a little bigger though.

New Hairdo

Ok, this is mostly just because Amy wanted to see a picture of my new hairdo.

Monkies on a Bed

We had six people trying to get the boys to all look in one direction. Unfortunately, six people means six different places to look so you can imagine how difficult this was. After a while Stratton was getting tired of all this picture business so he tried his hardest to make Jaxon and Samuel sit still. Of course, Samuel would not have it.

Eventually we got 2 of the3 to look in the same general direction. Once again Samuel refused to conform to our silly picture taking ways.

Merry Christmas??

This is Jaxon's first Christmas morning. Emily, Amy, me and our families all stayed at Dad's house Christmas Eve. We played games, ate a ton of food, and did a lot of talking. Unfortunately, Jax and I don't look wasted because of all the partying. He was sick all night so Tyler, Jax and me only slept a couple of hours. I think we kept Emily up most of the night, too. His nose was really runny and draining down his throat so he'd choke on it and then swallow it. Then, it would make him sick so he'd throw up. He finally started to feel better Christmas Day afternoon. I'm just glad he's too little to remember spending his first Christmas with his head in the toilet!

Bath Time

Jaxon LOVES to take baths. If he is ever fussy, tired or sick, that's where we go. He calms right down and is so content to sit till he is as wrinkly as a raisin.

Usually he screams when he has to get out of the tub. This was one of the rare occasions that he didn't.

Strat's Foot Fetish

Amy, Matt and Stratton were able to come home for Christmas this year. It is so fun to have all the babies together. Last time the Sievers were here Samuel was always trying to eat Stratton's feet. So, this time Strat was out for revenge, he just had the wrong feet! He would get so excited when he saw Jax's feet, he would reach and his little hands would just shake!

Football Addicts

This is how just about every day goes in our house during football season. Tyler is glued to the TV watching ESPN. It didn't take Jaxon long to get addicted either. He is definitely Tyler's kid.
