WARNING!!! This is a long post, there are lots of pictures and more then necessary details of the stomach flu! So last weekend we were supposed to be headed to Arizona to see Matt, Amy, Stratton and brand new baby Jude. We went to Tyler's mom's house on Sunday and were going to leave Monday morning for Scottsdale. I was just getting over a sinus infection and for some reason, even though I was pretty sure I wasn't contagious, Amy and I decided that it was probably best that we didn't go to Arizona. We were all really bummed. But, when you have a feeling like me and Amy did, you just don't ignore it. Anyway, Tyler already had scheduled 10 days off work so we thought we'd do some things while he was off. It was Linkon's birthday Tuesday and Tyler's on Friday so on Monday, to kick off our week of birthday celebrations, we went to a place called Boondocks in Layton-ish that has arcades, go-carts, bumper boats and mini golf. We had a ton of fun! Tyler's mom came with us and we had so much fun with her. Here are some pictures from Boondocks.

We headed home the next day, Tuesday. We met my family at Johnny Carino's to celebrate Teresa's birthday, and Link's too. Wednesday we went to see "How to Train Your Dragon" which both boys slept through. Then we went swimming at Green Canyon. Linkon had been acting a little down but I figured it was because he is cutting a few teeth. Anyway we got home and as I was making dinner he puked all over himself. Then Tyler says he's feeling sick. So all that night and the next day they were sick. Friday, Tyler's birthday they both seemed to be doing great. We went and saw "Robin Hood", which both boys were WIDE awake for and then we went out to eat at AppleBees. When we got home Jaxon started puking everywhere. So he was sick the whole night and in the morning Link started throwing up again too. Tyler was also still feeling a little sick. This is what our Saturday looked like.

So now it is very late on Sunday night and Tyler is about 100% better, Linkon is still having some tummy troubles and Jaxon just threw up again. This bug has been so terrible! Linkon is going on 5 days and Jax has been very sick for over 48 hours. So far I haven't been sick but we will see how the next few days go. We are still sad that we didn't get to go to AZ but we are more grateful that we followed our intuition and promptings and didn't bring this nasty flu to Matt and Amy and their little boys.

Jaxon's horse attacks Linkon's horse. And there is nothing Jaxon can do about it. That's what he told me anyway. So I told him if his horse acts up like that again I'm sending it the glue factory.

This is a picture I just found from last month when we went to Pocatello with Emily and her boys to see Grandma and Grandpa Green. Tammy and Maddox stopped by for a while too. I wast so fun to get to visit with family! This is Samuel, Maddox and Jaxon playing in the sandbox and Grandma and Grandpa's house. The boys had so much fun playing together!

Quick Update

I know its been a while since I posted but that's because there isn't a lot that has happened here. We've just been enjoyin the warm weather when it comes and tyring not to go too crazy when its nasty outside. We've built a lot of forts and had lots of movie marathons to try to keep the cabin fever at bay. My brother Josh came up last weekend and it was so good to see him! We spent a lot of time out at my dad's and Jaxon had so much fun hanging out with Josh. I stole these pictures from Josh's facebook. He took them while he and Jax were playing outside at my dad's. Jaxon is wearing my moms cowboy hat.
Other then that there really hasn't been much going on. We are getting ready to go to Arizona in a few weeks to be with the Amy and her little family when their new baby comes. We can't wait to see everyone. Jaxon is so excited to see his cousins. I am not however looking forward to the 90 degree weather! Anything over 85 and I'm melting!

Cars for sale!

We are selling our Camry and Tyler's pickup. The Camry is a 2007 LE, its black, deep tinted windows, runs great we are asking $13,200. Tyler's pickup is a Mazda b3000, its basically the same thing as a Ford Ranger. Its maroon, 4x4, extended cab, good gas milage for a pickup,, runs great, $5500. We decided that we are going to get an SUV, something that has enough room for more kids (no this is not an announcement) and something that can tow. And because Tyler has to drive to Idaho Falls to work we will just get him a little commuter car. Anyway if anyone is interested, let me know!

Sheep Ranchers for a Day

Today we went out to Hamer to the Ball Bros sheep ranch. My friend Lindsey is related to the Balls and I know them through her. Anyway we went out expecting to hold a couple new lambs and then head home. We ended up being there almost half the day holding a couple lambs, then feeding a bum lamb and then we went on a tractor ride to pick up the sheep that where having babies. Blake, Lindsey's cousin and a high school friend of mine, drove a little tractor around while we rode on a wagon. We would find the sheep that either had just delivered a baby or was just about to and then Blake would catch them and put them on the wagon with their babies. We got to see a few lambs born and it was so much fun! Lindsey even got to help deliver one! And I got to milk a sheep, which I've never done. I have only milked goats but I haven't done that in years! Jaxon had asked to ride a sheep the whole time so just before we left Lindsey put him on a couple of sheep. They were in really small pens so they couldn't really move and Jaxon would kick them and rock back and forth saying "giddy up!" "hee-haw!" and "ride 'em cowboy!" Jaxon had so much fun, he was really sad to leave. I can't wait till we have a house and property where we can have animals!

I've known Jason almost as long as I've known Tyler. Jason has this very calm and peaceful nature that makes children trust him and gravitate toward him. I don't know that I have EVER seen him loose his temper. We haven't known Autumn quite as long but I got to know her really well while we watched our husbands play basketball together. She is one of the most well-rounded and easy-going people I know. She never seams to be in a frenzy or even stressed out. She is always very level headed and calm, even in the toughest of situations. Sometimes I just don't how she does it! They are both incredibly generous. They are reliable. They are never prideful or rude. I honestly could sit here all night and tell you all the great things about them. One last thing I will say about them is that I KNOW they will be AWESOME parents. New Blog

Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that I started a new blog, it's called Stuffing My Fat Fatty Face. It's nothing fancy or big, it's just meal ideas and recipes. It's kinda silly really. I don't measure things so the recipes are a bit crazy sometimes but hopefully it will give someone a new idea for a yummy dinner! Snow Caves

These are the cool snow caves Me and Jaxon built today. We built 2 of them in the snow piles we have from shoveling the drive way and porch. I have to admit, I forgot how much fun it was to play in the snow! I was completely heartbroken when I couldn't fit inside the caves though! Jaxon wouldn't come out of them! He laid down inside and kept saying "I'm gonna stay here, mom. You go inside."

Sledding

Emily invited us to go sledding with her and her sister-in-laws a couple of weeks ago. We had so much fun! Jaxon was really upset when we had to stop. These pictures are of Jaxon, Samuel and Samuel's cousins.

We had so much fun on Thanksgiving! The weather was beautiful in Utah! Jaxon spent most of the afternoon escaping outside to run and play. The food was AZMAZING and the company was wonderful as well! It was really fun to get to meet all of Tyler's step-family. They are all really nice and made it a very fun and comfortable Thanksgiving, considering we were all pretty much strangers!

Linkon LOVES to eat his socks! He will almost always choose his socks over toys!

Our House is For Sale

We are selling our house. Because of Tyler's job we won't know when he will be asked to transfer to a new location and I don't want to have to stay behind and try to sell a house. So if you or anyone you know is interested in buying a trailer house come take a look at ours! It is a 1995 Broadmore Fleetwood with 2 beds and 2 baths. The master bath has a big walk in closet and a huge garden tub. In July we put new carpet and vinyl in the kitchen, 2nd bath, living room and dining room. We had the outside painted about 3 years ago. It has a nice big deck and shed. Lot rent is $200/month. We are asking $19,500 with the shed.

Jaxon insists that Linkon plays with him whenever Link is not eating or sleeping. I can't wait till Linkon is old enough to really play with him.

Jaxon was a bear and I was a truck driver. My costume was very last minute. I wish I'd had a beer belly and a big puffy vest or plaid button up shirt with the sleeves cut off, unfortunatly I had neither and no time to stop at D.I.

I know what you are all thinking so I'll just say it, I look like Josh.
