HOME AGAIN!!

YAY! We are finally home! After four and a half long, HOT months we are home! The summer was fun and we were even a little sad to leave Albuquerque but it is nice to be back in our own house. (Except that it is so cold here in the evenings and at night!) We left on Wednesday around 3:30 pm and drove for 7 hours, now here's the kicker... we only made it 300 miles! Tyler drove a car home for some friends that he works with. They had 2 cars out there and needed someone to drive one home and we needed more room so Tyler drove it home. This left me alone with Jaxon in the camry. I wasn't very excited to say the least! The first day was TERRIBLE! Jaxon didn't feel well and he would just scream and scream so we stopped about every hour to let him get out and walk around. Thursday and Friday were much better. He slept a lot and was really good about playing by himself. We had a slumber party at Tyler's mom's house on Thursday and then made it home on Friday, finally! The house wasn't baby-proofed yet because he was so small when we left, so the first half hour or so I spent following him around baby-proofing everything he tryed to touch or pull or put his fingers in. Anyway, it has been a very long, busy few days but we are happy to be home and we are NEVER leaving again!

Ta Da!

Look! No hands! Jaxon is walking! He started walking on Sunday the 20th and is getting really good! He loves to walk but he is still a little nervous. I have a video clip but I can"t get it to load so a picture will have to do for now. Tyler said that the longer a baby crawls the smarter he is, and Jaxon hasn't been crawling long so I tried to make him stop but it was too late! We are very proud of him! Especially to be doing it before he's 10 months old! It is so weird to see such a little person just walking around! Yay Jaxon!

Jaxon now has 3, count them 3, teeth that he LOVES to bite toes and fingers with!

This is one of Jaxon's favorite places in our apartment. It the closet door in our bedroom. He can play in front of the mirror for a long time, and I don't mind!

Another favorite place of Jaxon's. He really likes the blinds on the sliding door in the living room. They'll entertain him for a good 20 minutes or so. And again, I'm grateful for the time!

Another Weekend at Sievers!!

It was so fun to see them all playing together. Now that they're all the same size and can do a lot of the same things they have so much fun together!

Shopping with all the babies! How FUN! No, really they were all pretty good, as long as they got to take turns driving!

We spent a day at Matt's parent's condo in north Scottsdale. We went swimming, played in tunnels, orderd take out and just hung out!

This is the fun tunnel the boys played in, they loved it! This is the best picture I could get of all three of them in there at the same time. And no, Jaxon's not pushing Samuel, he's just helping him get through faster!

The babies LOVE the water! Jaxon slept for a lot of it but that was ok because I got a chance to play a bit! (Like in the picture below!) We played keep away, and Nate and I CRUSHED Tyler and Matt! And this is my way of rubbing it in!

Mostly I just wanted to show off Tyler's hott farmer's tan!

This is the balcony Jaxon and I got locked out on. Funny story. We were getting ready to leave and Tyler took a load down to the car, as he left he told me not the close the door because he didn't have a key. After he left I heard some people out in the hall so I closed the door, just to be safe. I also flipped the little latch thing over too, again, just to be safe. Then Jaxon and I went out on the balcony to have one last look at the ocean. I slid the door closed behind me so I wouldn't waste all the cold air inside the room. Anyway, when I closed the door it locked from the inside. So, Jax and I were locked on the balcony and Tyler was locked out of the room. I started to panic, (ok, little confession, I am very claustrophobic and a little scared of heights) so I started yelling down for someone to help me. Oh, yeah, we're on the 4th floor. So, I'm yelling "excuse me! Can someone help me?!" No one looks at me except this little girl in the pool. So I keep yelling. Luckily, with all my yelling, Tyler heard me through a window in the stairwell next to our room. We "discussed loudly" for a bit about why I locked the door and closed the latch and then Tyler went for help. A man had to come bust the latch off the door for us. He said that this happens all the time, people getting locked out on the balcony so I didn't feel quite as stupid. Anyway, me and Tyler laughed about it for the rest of the day. Thankfully, Jaxon was perfect through the whole thing! Now, I didn't have to share this embarrassing story but I did, so be kind in your comments!

Bridger Comes to Visit!

Bridger was able to stop by last Wednesday. He came with a friend to pick up a boat. He didn't get to stay long but it was really good to see him! Thanks for stopping by Bridge! I was feeling pretty family/homesick so it was really nice to see him.

Helpin' With The Dishes

Soooo Sleepy!

So I was doing dishes and Jaxon was getting a little fussy is his high chair so I turned the ceiling fan on to entertain him. A few minutes later I look over and he's head starts to nod and then jerk his back up. Nod, then jerk. Nod, then jerk. He put up a good fight and then finally gave in!

Week at Amy's

Stratton loves to push this little stroller but it is too light and he ends up falling down, so we thought we'd put Jaxon in it to make it heavier for Stratton to push. They both loved it! Jaxon was a little too heavy so I helped Strat a little bit.

THE ZOO!

At first neither one was very happy about being at the zoo. Stratton had a weird rash and they were both really tired. But we played in the little water fountain park a bit and then they cheered up, for a while at least! Last time we went to the zoo Jaxon just slept and when he was awake he only wanted to look at the birds eating crumbs off the ground. He didn't care much for the big exotic animals. But this time he really liked looking at the animals. He saw monkeys, giraffes, lots of birds, longhorn cattle, and a few other fun animals. It was really hot so we only stayed an hour and a half but it was so fun!

This is a pic of all the babies that are out here in Tucson with us this summer. There are 7, Jaxon is the oldest and the youngest is about 8 weeks old. It is so fun having this many babies to play with! And they are all so good and get along great!

Jaxon loves to stand and will pull himself up on anything he can get a hold of!

Crawling, FINALLY!

So Jaxon finally learned how to crawl! It is more of a hobble but at least he's moving! He is getting really good at getting around and especially getting into things!

Our BBQ at Amy's

Nate and Matt runnin the grill. It was really dark outside and hard to tell if the steak and shrimp was cooked all the way but they did a good job because none of us got sick! Well, we were all sick before that, but not after!



Jaxon was really mad because we just told him we had to leave after dinner. And Stratton learned that little finger-in-the-nose trick from, well, I better not say!

This was the first day the babies were together. They weren't quite sure what to think of each other. And once again, no Jaxon does NOT have hobbit feet! It's just the angle of the camera!

Samuel and Stratton refused to leave the safety of the blanket. They were terrified of the grass!

We finally just set them on the grass but they really didn't want their feet to touch it!


This is Jaxon with Tyler (who's first name is Jaxon) and Tyler's uncle Jack, who he's named after. Uncle Jack lives in Pheonix and we got to go visit him. It was really good to see him.

UPDATE

So I can't find a computer that will let me upload pictures so until I do, I thought I'd just post a quick little update. Scottsdale was so fun with most of the family there. Actually, funny story, within 6 days we managed to get 8 of the 11 people there sick with the flu! There was always at least one person sick almost the whole time. We did get to have a really fun BBQ the last night we were there though. We've been in Tucson for almost 3 weeks now and I am adjusting. It makes it easier knowing Amy is only an hour and a half away! It's nice to be somewhere warm, I really don't miss the snow you are all getting in Idaho! Tyler is doing fine. He had his best week ever last week so we are hoping this summer will be a good one. Jaxon loves the grass! He actually took his first crawling "step" on the grass last week! (He refuses to do it again, the little stinker!) The people here love babies. Everyone stops and stares and they all want to touch Jaxon. When they reach to touch, I start walkin'! I'll keep lookin' for a computer that will let me upload picturers. Anyway, that's what we're up to!

Arizona Bound

So, next week we are leaving for Arizona. Jaxon and I fly out on Monday with Emily and Samuel. We are going to spend a week or so with Amy in Pheonix, YIPEE! Tyler and Nate will join us on Thursday or Friday. I am really excited to see Amy and her little family. We've been counting down the days for about 6 weeks now. I am not however, even a little excited about going to Tucson. Right now their "lows" in the weather are still about 10 degrees above our "highs"! I don't know why I let Tyler talk me into this again! I must be crazy! Ok, so it won't be terrible, but I will be counting the days until its time to come home again. I like Idaho. I love to go to new places and see new things, but I don't like to be gone too long. I'm not going to lie, I get really homesick. Ok, enough complaining, or at least until I get there, then you'll probably have to hear more, sorry. I will do my best to keep up on my blog but we don't have a laptop so I may fall behind. Or die from the heat! So, farewell tiny home, my patch of grass, and the noisy highway. Farewell to the loud airplanes that buzz the house at 6am. Alright so I won't miss the highway or the planes, but I will miss my house, tiny as it is, and my lawn. And I'll miss my family and maybe even a friend or two! At least I get to take my two best friends with me so I won't get too homesick!
